We are seeking an experienced Digital Editor to lead digital output across news, politics and communications for one of our clients. Candidates must come from a news, media, politics or public affairs background – purely commercial or brand-led digital marketing profiles will not be suitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead digital content across social and online platforms in a fast-paced, news-driven environment
• React quickly to breaking news and translate political messaging into clear, engaging content
• Apply strong editorial judgement around tone, timing and risk
• Oversee content planning, delivery and performance in close collaboration with senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Background in digital journalism, political communications, public affairs or media
• Strong understanding of politics and the news cycle
• Excellent writing, editing and editorial judgement
• Experienced in high-pressure environments handling sensitive, high-profile content
