Before entering the world of recruitment Brendan worked as a media journalist where he gained a wealth of knowledge in the industry, working alongside PR as well as an array of comms and marketing & media professionals.
From there he went on to work with some of Ireland’s top recruitment firms where he became a pioneer of PR and marketing recruitment in Ireland. It was then he identified a gap in the market for a boutique communications recruitment agency, paired with his industry experience he has catapulted Spencer recruitment to be the go to agency for recruiting communications specialists.
An advocate of “doing recruitment differently” Brendan ensures Spencer Recruitment applies modern marketing principles, to the recruitment process across all industries and sectors. He is the Managing Director of Spencer Recruitment, Irelands fastest growing boutique recruitment agency for PR, Communications & Media.
Ciarán Falvey
Meet Ciaran, a highly motivated and results-driven Associate Recruitment Consultant at Spencer Recruitment. With a passion for people and a keen eye for talent, Ciaran specialises in the PR and Communications space, helping organisations find the right candidates for their teams.
Hailing from Cork, Ciaran was in IT recruitment previously. He holds a degree in International Relations, which has given him a unique perspective on the communications landscape.
