Our client, an international retailer based in Greater Dublin, is looking to recruit a Merchandising Listings Assistant.
This is an ideal opportunity for a driven, data-savvy and analytical individual ideally with previous merchandising, procurement or category planning and/or store experience. The ideal candidate will also have a genuine interest in retail and grocery, and be commercially minded, conscious of the impact that their work has on the wider business. Experience using space planning tools and merchandising plans and SAP would be a bonus.
Located within the Merchandising Team, the Merchandising Listings Assistant will be responsible for all product listings and will be an integral support for both the Buying Departments and the Merchandising Team for the new Listings process.
Essential and Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be confident and self-motivated
Extensive retail experience and knowledge of relevant merchandising systems (preferably Spaceman and SAP)
A hands-on, proactive approach and previous experience within all areas of the retail space planning process
Driven and passionate about making an impact and be corporate and professional with their approach
Extensive administration skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a calm and pro-active manner
Excellent organisation, time and diary management. Meets deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work
Ability to recognise areas in need of improvement and have the knowledge, desire, and confidence to make suggestions and change it
Effective communicator with individuals on all levels, with strong interpersonal skills
Highly analytical and commercially aware
Highly computer literate
Great attention to detail
Full Driving license required
