Communications Manager - Remote Role

Our client is Ireland’s leading Independent Charity dedicated to making a societal impact. They now have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Communications Professional to join their dynamic and engaging team as Communications Manager.


  • Develop and lead implementation of communications strategy, including PR, media engagement, branding, and online/offline communications.

  • Set and achieve quarterly targets for PR, media, web, and social media reach.

  • Act as brand and reputation champion for the charity.

  • Monitor and report on program and campaign performance.

  • Manage agency relationships and oversee website and resource development.

  • Provide communications support for various platforms and projects.

  • Support external-facing activities and stakeholder engagement.

  • Serve as a spokesperson for the organization.

  • Ensure budgetary oversight and adherence.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

  • 5+ years' experience in PR/journalism/digital media.

  • Experience managing content for high-traffic websites.

  • Strong writing skills and ability to deliver under pressure.

  • Proficiency in online platforms and analytics.

  • Comfortable in media settings.

  • Demonstrable expertise in digital media and target achievement.

  • Ability to manage people and agencies effectively.

  • Strong networking and collaboration skills.

  • Motivated and creative thinker.
