Spencer Recruitment are currently working with a publicly funded Healthcare organisation who are looking to recruit a Senior Press Officer for their Communications Division.
Every year our client delivers health and social care services to the population of Ireland – and the Press Office helps inform the public, the media and our stakeholders about the outstanding work that their staff do and the services they provide.
The Press Officer acts as the main contact for press & media queries. They prepare press releases, liaises with media contacts, answers media queries, arranges media interviews and monitors media coverage. They participate in the coordination, planning and management of campaigns, initiatives and research projects.
So if you have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with media outlets and the public, experience in crisis management, a good understanding of the health industry and related policies and experience in how to communicate complex information to the public and media, we would love to hear from you.
