PR and Content Specialist - Business Support Agency

Our client, a business support agency of the Government of Ireland, is looking to hire a PR and Content Specialist to work as a key member of its Communications and Marketing team.

They are looking for a highly skilled communications specialist who will use their experience and knowledge to support the growth of our client’s profile and reach by overseeing media relations and engagement and developing engaging and insightful content that can cater to multiple stakeholder audiences.

The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding writing skills with the ability to draft press releases, editorial content for online use, and copy for use in promotional and corporate documents. The role also requires strong project management skills, with the ability to scope and manage projects with a high degree of independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.

A real passion for media is a must including an ability to engage with the media, an understanding of collating media coverage reports, and the ability to spot and generate stories from the broad range of content available from the more than 70 networks throughout Ireland.

In addition, this role will support activities including events, research, sponsorships, and launches. Strong knowledge of social media, and an interest in the news and political landscapes is also required. An understanding of brand strategy, messaging and strategic stakeholder engagement would be advantageous. Corporate communications in- house or agency experience is desirable.
