Marketing Manager - Traffic & Safety Equipment


Our client, Pittman, a well-established and innovative company, recently celebrated a significant milestone in its journey. This exciting partnership opens up new opportunities for growth, collaboration, and innovation within our organisation. As a Marketing Manager at Pittman, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing the resources and expertise that their affiliation with Bunzl Group brings. You will lead a team of 2 marketing executives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Your primary objective will be to help Pittman break into new markets in Europe, with a particular focus on Germany. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and helping expand our business in the Irish and UK markets. This is a commercial role that encompasses strategic planning and effective execution, including communications and public relations efforts.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals, with a specific focus on European expansion, especially in Germany.

  • Lead and manage the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to 2 marketing executives.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitors' activities in target markets.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Monitor and optimise Pittman's online and offline presence in European, Irish, and UK markets to ensure a consistent and engaging brand image.

  • Collaborate with product development and sales teams to align marketing efforts with product launches and sales initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Proven experience in marketing management, with at least 5 years of progressive responsibilities, in the B2B space.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media platforms.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public relations experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective marketing and PR strategies.
