Our client, Ireland’s leading forecourt and convenience retailer with 420 sites across the island of Ireland, seeks to hire a Marketing Communications Manager. This role is pivotal in the marketing team, ensuring that all communications, CSR, and events marketing align optimally with customer needs. It is essential to understand FMCG marketing and campaign execution.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute communications supporting 'famous for' categories (food, coffee, carwash) within budget.
Develop a communications plan for sustainability, CSR, and partnerships.
Includes corporate communications, consumer PR activations, and internal comms.
Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business targets.
Work on a calendar of activities supporting the marketing strategy.
Manage digital activities in line with the communications strategy.
Oversee activities supporting partnership initiatives.
Serve as the key contact for partners.
Coordinate internal support for partnership activities.
Lead sustainability efforts within the marketing department.
Influence external/internal perceptions of sustainability initiatives.
Manage company events, including internal, in-person, and store events.
Work closely with 3rd party agencies for execution.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of marketing/communications experience, preferably in FMCG retail
Proficiency in managing 3rd party agencies.
Strong understanding of the marketing mix.
Ability to plan and implement brand-led marketing campaigns.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High literacy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a busy workload.
