Our client is a business support agency of the Government of Ireland. They are looking to hire a Head of Strategic Projects to work as a senior member of their team.
We are looking for a commercially astute individual with extensive experience designing, implementing and managing a portfolio of strategic projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of well-established, large-scale national learning and development projects, and also the identification, design, development and implementation of new strategic projects. You will develop and lead a professional and committed team of Strategic Project Managers.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
8+ years’ proven and demonstrable experience in a complex service delivery model, which includes building and managing large-scale L&D projects
A relevant third-level qualification, including, but not limited to: Learning and Development, Business, Management/Project Management, Communications, Politics, Human Resources
Excellent project/programme management skills (preferably in an L&D environment)
Background in public / private partnership environment
Experience in managing and motivating teams and in harnessing talent across the organisation to achieve the business’s ambitious growth goals
