About our client

Our client, who pride themselves on nurturing and promoting their employees' talents and strengths, are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious professional who can manage flagship clients and their events and campaigns from the get-go, and possibly in time, shape the overall operational processes of the department. They are looking for someone ambitious enough to want to shape and grow the Events Department. The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the MD, CSO, and CFO from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee diverse event and brand activations, lead new business initiatives, and manage client relationships.

  • Team Management: Lead and develop department teams, ensuring efficient planning and execution of key aspects.

  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure teams are well-equipped and resourced, maintaining timelines and priorities for successful project delivery.

  • Compliance and Accountability: Uphold company policies in Event projects, conducting efficient department-wide meetings, and managing staff for a positive company reputation.

  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with Senior Management, oversee projects, and manage relationships with client agencies involved in events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Communication and People Management: Possesses excellent communication and people management skills, with a strong ability to engage at all business levels.

  • Business Development: Demonstrates the ability to generate business and has a proven track record in sourcing new clientele, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar senior role.

  • Event Management Expertise: Brings a deep understanding of all aspects of event management, especially in production, and has experience in brand activation.

  • Financial Acumen: Exhibits strong budget and financial management skills, ensuring cost-effectiveness and continuous improvement.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a growing team, while staying focused on critical priorities under demanding and dynamic delivery commitments.
