The Client
Our client is a federation for insurance and reinsurance in Europe. Through its 36 member bodies, the national insurance associations, our client represents all types and sizes of insurance and reinsurance undertakings. Our client is based in Brussels and represents undertakings that account for around 95% of total European premium income. Insurance makes a major contribution to Europe’s economic growth and development. European insurers pay out almost €1 000bn annually, or €2.7bn a day in claims, and directly employ nearly 920 000 people and invest over €10.6trn in the Economy. Our client is now looking to hire an Editorial Manager. You will have the opportunity to participate in projects that will influence the European insurance industry in the coming years.
Responsibilities:
Maintain house style and quality of written materials for the client.
Write and edit technical content, including annual reports, infographics, and newsletters.
Manage the production process of reports and publications.
Proofread all public written materials.
Provide advice to staff and assist in event program management.
Collaborate with the Communication and PR team to enhance written content.
Partner with General Insurance & Personal Insurance Department on communications.
Serve as a backup for press relations and social media.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in communication, editorial, or media relations.
Strong knowledge of financial services/insurance sector.
Native-level English proficiency; other languages are a plus.
Demonstrated writing/editing skills for various formats.
Team-oriented, proactive, and responsible.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
