Job Title: HR Manager

Overview:

An excellent opportunity for a strategic and experienced HR leader to shape and execute a people-first strategy aligned with business goals. This senior-level role focuses on talent development, HR operations, employee engagement, and culture building, while ensuring compliance and delivering measurable impact.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement the overall HR strategy with clear KPIs.

  • Partner with the leadership team to drive culture, values, and business direction.

  • Use people analytics to support decision-making and organizational planning.

Talent Management

  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.

  • Maintain and align competency frameworks with business needs.

Learning & Development

  • Design and execute an L&D strategy with measurable results.

  • Manage leadership development programs, training plans, and the L&D budget, focusing on ROI and alignment with strategic goals.

Performance & Reward

  • Develop a competitive reward and benefits strategy.

  • Enhance and execute the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer brand.

  • Oversee performance management, driving a culture of accountability.

  • Launch recognition programs aligned with company values.

Engagement, Inclusion & Wellbeing

  • Advise leadership on employee relations and engagement approaches.

  • Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and dignity-at-work programs.

  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) across the company.

HR Operations & Infrastructure

  • Lead with a data-first approach to HR, providing insights to leadership and the board.

  • Implement tech-driven and efficient HR solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and HR policies.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Present HR initiatives and insights at Board and committee meetings.

  • Report on HR metrics, highlighting strengths and improvement areas.

  • Represent HR as a trusted advisor in cross-functional discussions.


Candidate Profile:

Experience

  • 10–15 years of HR experience, including 8+ years in a senior HR role.

  • Proven track record of advising leadership on both strategic and operational HR matters.

  • Experience in HR strategy, workforce analytics, budget management, and employee relations.

  • Demonstrated success with employer branding, DEI, and training investment ROI.

Education

  • NFQ Level 8+ qualification in HR or a related field.

Core Strengths

  • Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR frameworks.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.

  • Strong stakeholder management and employee engagement skills.
