Their 43-acre venue hosts a wide variety of events, including sports, corporate functions, hospitality, live entertainment, and exhibitions, attracting over 2 million visitors each year. Revenue from these events supports the organisation’s social impact programmes, helping clients, partners, and visitors contribute to a better society.

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead exceptional campaigns, engage diverse stakeholders, and drive both commercial and reputational success.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, the Manager will be central to integrating the venue’s activities, social impact programmes, membership, strategic priorities, and major events. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong background in digital content.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution: Develop and implement the marketing and communications plan, aligning with commercial goals while highlighting social impact, membership offerings, fundraising efforts, and key projects. Create engaging content that attracts and retains new audiences. Lead the planning and delivery of content across digital and social channels to enhance engagement and meet strategic goals. Coordinate with external creative, marketing, and PR agencies for impactful results.

Media Relations: Assist with media relations, including drafting and placing content, and collaborating with external agencies to secure favourable coverage. Develop and manage media relations to highlight the organisation’s value proposition, key milestones, leaders, and projects.

Brand Management and Reputation: Implement brand strategies that reflect the organisation’s commitment to social impact and commercial success. Monitor and report on the organisation’s media and public reputation, managing responses and leveraging positive stories to enhance its image.

Qualifications and Experience

– Proven experience in marketing and communications planning and execution; agency experience is a plus.
– Experience in managing end-to-end campaigns with a focus on achieving measurable results, including revenue generation.
– Proficiency in digital transformation strategies and managing corporate social media channels and campaigns.
– Demonstrated ability to create engaging and effective content.
– Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
