We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function and deliver people-focused initiatives that support our organisational goals. This is a senior-level position requiring a strong background in HR leadership, strategy, and compliance. Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement the HR strategy, ensuring the effective delivery of its key components, with defined KPIs to attract, retain, and develop talent while tracking progress and impact.
- Serve as part of the extended leadership team to shape and drive company culture, values, and strategic direction.
- Drive evidence-based people decisions through robust people analytics.
Talent Management
- Manage workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning.
- Develop and maintain competency frameworks aligned to business needs.
Learning & Development
- Create and implement a Learning & Development strategy, ensuring effective execution of its key components with defined KPIs and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee leadership development programs, training plans and manage the L&D budget, ensuring strong ROI and strategic alignment.
Performance & Reward
- Oversee the development of a competitive and fair reward and benefits strategy.
- Enhance and lead the implementation of our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and employer branding strategy.
- Manage performance management processes to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Introduce and manage employee recognition programs aligned with company values.
Engagement, Inclusion & Wellbeing
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations and engagement strategies.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through wellbeing and dignity-at-work programs.
- Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the organization.
HR Operations & Infrastructure
- Embed a data first approach within HR operations and present actionable insights to leadership and the board.
- Leverages existing and new technologies to navigate, create, and share information to deliver more effective, efficient solutions.
- Ensure legal compliance of HR policies and contracts
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in Board and sub-committee meetings to present and gain approval for HR strategic initiatives.
- Prepare reports for the COO, Leadership Team, and Board that highlight key HR metrics, showcasing strengths and identifying areas that need improvement.
- Represent HR in cross-functional meetings, ensuring the department is recognized as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters for both managers and employees.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- 10-15 years’ professional experience encompassing the full HR remit, including 8 years’ operating within a senior HR management position.
- A Level 8 (or higher) qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) in HR, or a related field.
- Proven experience advising leadership teams on both operational and strategic HR matters.
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering HR strategy and plans aligned with business objectives.
- Experience with HR metrics, workforce analytics, and budgeting.
- Experience managing HR and training-related budgets, with a focus on return on investment.
- Proven Experience of engaging with stakeholders and creating a positive employee relations environment.
