Pittman®, a growing distributor based in Athy, Co. Kildare, serves Irish, UK, and international markets. They seek a Business Development Manager for the Leinster region to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis:
– Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and the competitive landscape.
– Analyse customer needs to develop targeted growth strategies.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
– Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets.
– Pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
– Create proposals and presentations for clients.
Client Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
– Communicate regularly to understand client needs and provide solutions.
Partnership Development:
– Establish strategic partnerships within the traffic and safety industry.
– Collaborate with partners to expand product offerings.
Team Collaboration:
– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive business development approach.
– Provide input on product development based on market trends.
Person Specification:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
– Proven experience in B2B business development.
– Knowledge of traffic management and safety regulations is a plus.
– Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
– Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
– Strategic thinker with market analysis skills.
– Ability to travel as needed.
