Job Title: Account Director
Reporting to: Managing Director

Overview:
The Account Director plays a key role in managing client relationships, driving business growth, and overseeing the execution of strategic accounts. The role combines leadership, relationship management, and project delivery to ensure KPIs are met, contributing to revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management & Development:
    • Oversee key client accounts, ensuring high-quality results.
    • Develop and implement strategies to foster long-term client relationships.
    • Ensure exceptional client service and take corrective action when needed.
  2. Business Growth:
    • Lead efforts to generate new business, including proposals, pitches, and tenders.
    • Develop marketing campaigns and manage lead generation to ensure continued business growth.
    • Deliver high-quality pitch materials and lead teams to secure new clients.
  3. Team Leadership & Development:
    • Guide and support teams, ensuring alignment with client goals.
    • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
    • Manage team performance to meet KPIs and deliverables.
  4. Operational Management:
    • Oversee resource allocation and ensure optimal productivity.
    • Lead multiple client accounts, ensuring timely project delivery and effective communication.
    • Manage client budgets to align with financial targets.
  5. Marketing & Networking:
    • Contribute to the client’s marketing strategy, including PR, events, and social media.
    • Build and maintain relationships with industry contacts, clients, and potential partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing large, high-profile client accounts.
  • Strong track record in business development and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in financial management, including handling budgets and P&L.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
